School Holiday Program
During the School Holiday Program, Deloraine Pottery Hub will offer a range of different workshops where children will be given the opportunity to create a range of projects using different pottery hand building techniques, painting and drawing techniques. Teen wheel throwing classes will also be offered to children and teens aged 10+. This workshop will be run over the school holidays.
Monster Mugs
Our monster mug class is designed specifically for kids and teens to come and explore their creative side while learning the basics of hand-building. It is also a great way to keep your kids occupied over the holidays and to introduce them to an activity and creative method they may not have experienced.
In this class, your child will create a pinch pot cup which will be decorated with monster like facial features such as eyes, teeth and horns. They will then have the opportunity to decorate their mugs with coloured slip before undergoing the firing process. The firing process will take around 4 weeks and you will be contacted when they are ready for collection.
Parents are welcome to enrol and join in.

Pinch Pot Animals
Are you looking for something to do with your kids these school holidays? This pottery class is the perfect opportunity for your children to unleash their creativity and create an animal using the pinch pot technique. In this class, they will also be able to decorate their animals with coloured slip or underglaze before they undergo the firing process. The firing process will take around 4 weeks and you will be contacted when they are ready for collection.

Make and Paint a Plate
Looking for the perfect school holiday activity for your child? Why not let them unleash their creativity with our new Make and Paint a plate class.
During this class, your child will have the opportunity to make and paint their own handmade ceramic plate which will then undergo the firing process. The firing process will take around 4 weeks and you will be contacted when they are ready for collection.

Come and enjoy a class of creating your own unique ceramic necklace. During this class, your child will be making their own ceramic beads and necklace pendants which will be textured using a variety of implements, then coloured with underglaze before being fired. Wheel Throwing 10+
Are you looking for fun indoor activity in Deloraine that will entertain your crafty kid these school holidays? Sign them up for a Deloraine Creative Studio Pottery Hub wheel throwing class and get your kid learning to make your very own ceramic art from scratch!
In this 2-hour, child friendly workshop, our experienced potter will teach all the skills to make a bowl or cup on the wheel. A fun and immersive experience for the curious and creative!
All pieces will be fired, covered in clear glaze and ready for collection in 4 weeks.
